How to brew single-serve pour-over coffee

  1. Open the sleeve and tear the filter along its marked edge.
  2. Unfold the arms and place the filter securely over your mug.
  3. Wet the grounds, then add hot water slowly in steady pours.
  4. Let the coffee drain, remove the filter, and enjoy.

Single-serve pour-over coffee questions

Are pour-over drip bags instant coffee or pods?

No. Each serving contains ground coffee inside a built-in drip filter. Hot water passes through the grounds into your mug; the grounds stay in the filter instead of dissolving. No capsule machine is needed.

Does the bag steep in the mug?

No. Open the filter arms over your mug and pour water through the grounds. Keep the filter above the brewed coffee so it can drain, then remove it.

Is Riverside caffeine-free?

No. Riverside is Half Caff and still contains caffeine. The amount in your cup depends on the coffee and how you brew it. Read the Half Caff Coffee Guide for the distinction between Half Caff and decaf.
