Oval primarily roasts light and light-to-medium coffees because lighter roasting can preserve more of a coffee’s natural character, sweetness, aromatics, and structure. Our goal is not to make coffee taste thin or overly sharp. Our goal is to make light roast coffee approachable, balanced, and easy to drink every day.

Bowling Green is our Women-Grown light roast coffee. The Natural is our fruit-forward Natural Process light-to-medium roast coffee. Riverside is our Half Caff light-to-medium roast coffee. Each coffee is roasted with intention so customers can understand the difference between profiles without needing to be coffee experts.

He has worked in specialty coffee since 2007 and has roasted full time since 2012, focusing on production roasting, sensory clarity, quality control, coffee sourcing, and scalable coffee systems for retail and foodservice.
