Riverside Half Caff · 8 Pour Over Single Serves

One Riverside caddy holds eight individually wrapped Pour Over Single Serves, all in the same Half Caff coffee profile. Each packet contains ground coffee and a built-in filter that rests over your mug. Bring a serving to work or on your travels, wherever hot water and a suitable mug are available.

Riverside by Oval Coffee Roasters is a smooth, light-to-medium roast made with equal portions of caffeinated coffee and decaf, roasted in New York City.

Half Caff still contains caffeine. The 50/50 ratio describes the coffee blend, not a tested caffeine amount in your cup. Dose, serving size and brewing method affect the result.

How to brew single-serve pour-over coffee

You’ll need hot water and a mug. No coffee machine, grinder or separate dripper is required.

  1. Open and attach. Remove the drip bag from its packet, tear the filter at the marked edge and unfold the paper arms securely over your mug.
  2. Brew gently. Pour hot water to wet the grounds, keeping it below the filter’s top edge. Let the water drain before adding more.
  3. Finish your cup. Continue pouring in stages following the packet directions. Let the final pour drain, then remove the filter.

Pause if water builds up; do not pour faster than the filter can drain. For a lighter cup, add a little hot water to the brewed coffee and taste.

Single-serve pour-over coffee questions

Is this instant coffee, a pod or a steeping bag?

No. Hot water flows through real coffee grounds and a filter into your mug. The grounds stay in the drip bag instead of dissolving. It is designed for pour-over brewing, not a pod machine or steeping in the cup.

Does a 50/50 blend mean exactly half the caffeine?

No. It describes equal portions of caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee. Dose, serving size and brewing method affect the amount in your cup, and decaf can retain some caffeine. Riverside is not caffeine-free.

How should I store the eight servings?

Keep each sleeve sealed until brewing. Store the caddy in a cool, dry place away from heat, moisture, direct light and strong odors. Follow the best-by information on the packaging.
