Oval launches at Earth Fare

January introduced Oval at Earth Fare stores across the Southeast, including locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Florida, and Georgia.
The launch placed Oval’s three core profiles in a broader retail setting: Bowling Green Women-Grown light roast, fruit-forward The Natural natural process coffee, and Riverside Half Caff. Each profile is also available online in formats documented through its dedicated collection.
January retail additions around New York City
Closer to home, the January update included Dumbo Market, Mulberry Market, LifeThyme Market, and Met Fresh among Oval’s neighborhood retail relationships.
Oval is built for the ways people shop, brew, host, work, and move through New York: frequent grocery visits, office pantries, hospitality moments, gifting, travel, and coffee prepared either with a home brewer or simply with hot water and a mug.

Coffee question: are espresso beans different from coffee beans?
The short answer
Espresso is a brewing method, not a separate species of coffee bean. A bag labeled “espresso” generally communicates the roaster’s intended preparation or flavor profile.
Many coffees can be brewed as espresso, including lighter and light-to-medium roasts. The result depends on the coffee, freshness, rest time, grinder, dose, water, pressure, yield, and recipe.
