Brooklyn Pop Up
Last weekend we brought Oval Sundays to Brooklyn for the first time, and our first Brooklyn event since our collaboration with Public Records years ago. We served pour overs and lever espresso on the La Peppina and had a great time connecting with everyone who stopped by. We will be back this upcoming Sunday from 10am to 3pm and will have a few surprises in store. If you are in the area, we would love to see you. Location is across from the Navy Yard, at 51 Washington St. The space is one store front over from Shared Roasting. Check out the video above to see our setup.
Coffee for Holiday Gatherings
This has been a busy autumn in New York and we have been glad to support events a few times each week. We have had the chance to serve clients including LVMH, Spotify, and Point of View. And I am writing this while a holiday event with Flaweless is underway in Tribeca with an Oval coffee and tea spread (photo above.) The entire visual presentation by Resident and Flaweless at the event is a showstopper and we're glad to fit right in.
We offer a simple drop off and pick up service, in addition to full espresso catering. It has become a popular middle ground between a full espresso cart and the usual hotel lobby style drip setup. If you are hosting something this season, please keep us in mind. We customize to meet brand guidelines and can elevate a daytime gathering without taking over the space.
Holiday Gifting
If you are putting together gifts for the season, our whole bean coffees and drip bags both ship cleanly and hold up well. They work for travel, office days, and anyone who appreciates something thoughtful and practical.
Product Spotlight
This month we are highlighting our drip bags. They make a holiday gift that feels a little more unique than giving a bag of beans. Coffee beans are something people buy for themselves, but drip bags feel more considered and do not feel like giving someone groceries. They also work well for your own holiday travel. They brew cleanly in hotels, offices, and even airports. Anywhere you can get hot water, you can make a good cup.
