Bowling Green Blend is built on that belief. Each lot is sourced from women producers, most often in Central America, and chosen for its structure, clarity, and sweetness. Expect a light roast with bright fruit notes — cherry, apple, clean sweetness — and balanced acidity. We roast it in small batches in New York City to protect that definition in the cup.

This approach started years ago, after sitting in on a women’s co-op meeting in Huehuetenango. The energy, the ownership, the way business was being led in that room — it wasn’t charity, it was leadership. Since then, every women-produced coffee we’ve cupped for Bowling Green has exceeded expectations. The name “Bowling Green” is a nod to Alice Foote MacDougall — an early 20th-century NYC coffee trailblazer, one of the women who helped shape coffee culture in this city long before most had a seat at the table. We carry that forward with transparency, respect, and quality you can taste.
