Bowling Green – Single-Use Pour Over Pack (8ct)
Bowling Green Blend.
Always women-produced, always exceptional.
The Blend:
Each lot rotates seasonally—usually from Central America—and is chosen for both the producer and the coffee’s potential: sweet, clean, and structured with notes like cherry and apple. We roast it light to bring out clarity and balance—the kind of profile that helped define the third wave. The current lot, shipping now, is from Costa Rica.
We started buying women-produced coffees after visiting Huehuetenango years ago. The energy in that women’s co-op meeting was unmatched—not just in coffee, but in business. When we see passion, we pay attention.
Many impact claims in coffee feel murky or paternalistic. This one was neither. Clear need. Clear benefit. And honestly? Every women-produced coffee we've cupped has exceeded expectations.
The name? A nod to Alice Foote MacDougall—an early 20th-century NYC coffee trailblazer who ran Bowling Green Coffee.
Curious which lot is in the blend right now? DM us and we’ll send you a photo of the actual burlap sack it came in.
The Format:
With our pour over packs you can enjoy great coffee wherever you are. This brew method has been a staple in specialty coffee in Asia for decades and is easy to use at home, while traveling, or in the workplace.
We think this is a far superior experience, in brewing and in flavor, to instant coffee and other convenience brewing methods. All you need is hot water and a cup.
This package contains eight single use pour overs.
